This week, in a classic case of David vs. Goliath, the San Diego Padres have driven a rock into the foreheads of San Francisco fans by sweeping the Giants in a 3 game series. One of the games was an epic 26Inning match where the Padres had a walk off win. This may be the longest game (correct me if im wrong jeremy) in SBL history. Team captain C Dan Wehner had these words.
Wehner: "This week we showed the league that we still matter. You can't overlook us because we can beat anyone on any given night. Our GM is infusing us with young talent and before you know it, it will be shocking to say that WE would lose to SF in a 3 game series. I am happy we did this for the fans, and I am happy we did this for our boy 1B/C Mike Jacobs out there in LA, who is now sitting pretty in 1st place. As for the tyrannical GM Denim Blevins, I have a simple question for you. Whose Your Padre?

I don't know for certain, but I feel like Florida was once in a 28 inning game.. I should have it noted somewhere if I can manage to find it...
On another note, the response from San Francisco should be interesting. With 17 games remaining, and an LA vs SF series to finish the season, anything can happen..
Should be very fun!

Congrats man. Glad I could highlight your season. It's definitely good for league morale when owners are getting this hyped up over winning a series! :-)
