I was trying to think of some other ideas besides having a committee to vote on every trade...here is an idea i came up with, just wanted to put it out there.
1. There are no specific members to vote on trades... 2. Trades are posted and giving a grace period...between each sim... 3. If any owner feels the deal is veto worthy they post why... 4. If no one feels the deal is veto worthy it just passes...no voting 5. If 1 owner does find a deal veto worthy, then it would go to a vote....i'd say the first 7 owners to vote would decide if it passes or not.
I realize having 7 owners to vote on every trade is not practical, but we have enough guys checking the forum so that if 1 out of every 10 trades goes to a vote, we should be able to find 7 votes. This way the easily passable trades just go threw, and then the veto voted trades have more then just the same 5 people voting and it opens up the more opionions regarding "veto worthy" trades...
I've seen this work in other leagues, so it might be a good idea, it might not...post here with your opionions.

Well this sorta doesnt do anything but add more people's opinion to a veto trade. The main problem on the TC is that when a veto happens the TC goes to war. Instead of 5 minds fighting over what right or wrong i propose this.
1 Trade Master- He passes and veto every trade. He vote is reviewed by the comish as well. If the Comish disagree with the Master TC and the 2 of them can not come to a decision then it goes to a league vote or TC vote. Thats my proposal

I think the TC is fine? If anything, the members should get "terms", like say 3 or 5 years. I think its a bad idea to disolve it though. I, for one, would not be interested in a "Trade Master" position. Sounds like a good job for . . . . . . Tim? lol

ill be the trade master. if i see a problem, ill address it. or if someone else feels like there is an issue, they can address me and i will put it to vote, or something? lol
there can be a substitute-trade-master for my deals too
thats not at all complicated, is it?

I like Jer's idea. Only when theres a problem the whole league votes on it by email vote, not just 1 other person.

the way trades are carried out as is, i'd say that i feel much more comfortable with Jeremey having hte final say on trades. He is the one running the game in and out. Voting is just a waste of time, when it comes to peoples different evaluations on trades. No TC, Jeremey has final say sounds like a good idea to me.
