I have to go with Reyes. Pujols is a stud power hitter, but Reyes is a 5 tool allstar... Rollins was right there too especially for LA

Reyes had the power and the speed along with the average

I would of liked to see Jason Bay up there with a 304 avg, 43hr and 125 rbi, but oh well, ill vote for Reyes he edges out Rollins.

First off, I'm not a HUGE fan of this list by any means. Three candidates, and 2 are from Cincinnati? We all know a "write in" would never win. Reyes is probably the best guy. Since the voting is so lopsided, I'm gonna throw a vote Rollins' way. I feel that he was the LA catalyst, and the Dodgers wouldn't have made the playoffs without him. Cincinnati would have made the playoffs without Reyes. The term itself is "Most Valuable", not "Most Outstanding, or "Best Player." Based on that criteria I vote Rollins.
Again, I don't think MVP should be determined specifically by stats. I would have liked to see representatives from the Giants, Astros, and ESPECIALLY the 1st time East winning Marlins. That's a huge team accomplishment, and I feel that they were probably 1 player away from losing the division.

OK, Shortstop Hanley Ramirez of FLA. .319, 24 hr, 71 rbi, 41 steals, and 0 errors at the most important position on the field! Similar to Reyes and Rollins! Also, plays in a PITCHERS PARK with a WORSE LINEUP surrounding him than the other 2 teams!
Florida doesn't make the playoffs without SS Hanley Ramirez, he's a great candidate!!!

Makes a good point, as to why i mentioned Jason Bay. Not all about the stats, its what they bring to the team as a whole.

there are very few owners who know every team inside and out, i guarantee you almost everyone votes on stats...... i dont see what the problem is since you both agree reyes is mvp
